I joined the Broad in November 2021. My work focuses on the Developmental GTEx project, an extension of the GTEx initiative that aims to understand gene expression similarities and differences across human developmental stages in multiple reference tissues.
During my postdoctoral studies, I was awarded the AACR–AstraZeneca START grant to investigate drug combinations targeting oncometabolite-producing tumors. I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Life Sciences from the University of Mumbai, India. I earned my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University in Kristoffer Valerie’s lab, where my research focused on DNA damage response signaling, particularly the roles of ATM kinase and protein phosphatase 2A in response to ionizing radiation.
